Project Background

The family at Coral Springs was excited to be one of the last homes built in an established neighborhood. The homesite wasn’t wide enough for a side entry garage and with a large family maintaining as much space in the backyard was important. Taking advantage of the wooded common area behind the home was important in coming up with a design.

Project Details

Timeless finishes were the goal with this home. From the white cabinets, to the wood floors, to the large front porch and marble in the master bathroom each was chosen with an eye towards the future. From the kitchen to the family room and nook in between views to the woods was prioritized. The finished basement created an additional office in the house and was the less formal option for the children to play but also had a wet bar for larger gatherings. Putting the unique laundry room upstairs with the bedrooms was an important design decision while also giving the three of the four bedrooms a view of the woods. The fourth and final bedroom had a custom built three tiered bunk bed that really made the space.
